In the past six years, I have been fortunate enough to have taught both French and English to students of all ages in the UK, US and China. After teaching French in British secondary schools, I enjoyed the opportunity of working with younger students in Chicago. I have recently returned to the US after three years of teaching English as a second language in China.
Although I greatly enjoy being in the classroom, working on a one to one basis offers many rewards for me such as the chance to tailor lessons to meet the exact needs and expectations of students as well as see their rapid progress. I love getting to know students and bringing their interests into our lessons.
My most recent experience in China led me to teach English to students ages 3 through 18. During this time I planned and taught exciting lessons that focused on developing all language skills. Variety as well as student engagement are very important to me and that is reflected in my lessons that incorporate games, grammar exercises, reading or writing focused activities and a lot of communication practice. I hold a TEFL certificate.
When I was five years old, my family moved to France from the UK. I underwent my entire education from primary to university there. Because of this, not only am I now bilingual but I also have a deep and personal love of French culture. My teaching qualifications center around teaching modern foreign languages, in particular French.
Languages have really opened up the world for me and I have enjoyed so many incredible experiences thanks to them. I hope I can help you do the same!

Skype has become more and more common in the last couple of years, a tool developed for making communication easier, faster and more effective. You only need a couple of things: a computer with internet access, the Skype software (free to download) and a headset. (A camera can be useful but it is not necessarily inevitable.
Online, we can can type out new words as we go along and the learner can save the chat record to their computer after the session, which is very much appreciated.
I can help your son study everything from pronunciation to grammar.
I have an abundance of patience. My objective is to make French or Arabic fun, creative, educational, and friendly.
My method will help to communicate quickly, build confidence and give motivation to progress rapidly.

I have "Bien dit"I,II,III students books, "grammar & vocabulary" Books, "Allez,Viens" Level 2,"Points de depart" for college students.
I have Alif Baa and Al-Kitaab fii Ta allum al -Arabiyya books.I use the board for writing and I give homework to help you practice between our lessons.
If you need immediate assistance for a test or homework : Quizzes, essay, vocabulary or grammar, I can work for short term as well and assist within a very short notice.
