Description: Hi! My name is Tricia. I have a about 5 years of experience tutoring over 80 students from elementary to college age. I'm currently a practicing engineer at a medical device company and tutor in my free time. It's something I truly love to do, there's nothing better than witnessing the "light bulb" moment.

Through participating in a biomedical engineering curriculum, I learned to critically think about different subjects and how they relate to each other, which I use to tutor and help students understand. Description: As a math major, I tutored my peers throughout college. After college, I applied my math and science in military aviation. For the last five years, I have instructed a variety of aviation topics. All of this has included instructing math and physics.

I can instruct almost any math subject and several science subjects. However, my favorite subject to instruct is algebra. As I have helped students with higher math, including calculus and differential equations, I have found that those who struggle typically lack a good foundation in algebra.
