With a dozen experienced tutors available in the Greater Sacramento Area, we provide help with all aspects of Language Arts or Math from Kinder-8th grades. 

PLUS = Specialists in Algebra & Geometry available for High School, Middle School or adult students.

Other specialized tutoring may be available in Physics, Spanish, Trig & Calculus depending on tutor expertise and proximity to student. 

We offer primarily individual tutoring with a customized tutoring plan. This can include homework help, test preparation, promotional exam prep as well as remediation.

Description: Hi! My name is Tricia. I have a about 5 years of experience tutoring over 80 students from elementary to college age. I'm currently a practicing engineer at a medical device company and tutor in my free time. It's something I truly love to do, there's nothing better than witnessing the "light bulb" moment.

Through participating in a biomedical engineering curriculum, I learned to critically think about different subjects and how they relate to each other, which I use to tutor and help students understand. I also aim to instill critical thinking techniques when teaching, allowing students to move away from memorization and towards logical thinking and problem solving, which in turn helps them retain the information and score better on exams.

When tutoring I try to incorporate a comfortable and fun environment to promote learning. I feel that the more comfortable one is when learning, the more beneficial the lesson will be.
