Description: Hi! My name is Tricia. I have a about 5 years of experience tutoring over 80 students from elementary to college age. I'm currently a practicing engineer at a medical device company and tutor in my free time. It's something I truly love to do, there's nothing better than witnessing the "light bulb" moment.

Through participating in a biomedical engineering curriculum, I learned to critically think about different subjects and how they relate to each other, which I use to tutor and help students understand. In that case, I believe I can help you out: I'm Katarina, a high school senior who scored both a 36 on my ACT and 2400 on my SAT in 2014. Only a handful of students in the entire nation accomplish a perfect score on both tests each year, but practicing specific strategies and keeping in mind certain tips can dramatically improve performance. As a student who recently took these tests, I understand the typical problems high school students encounter on these tests and how to resolve them. Scoring highly on the ACT or SAT doesn't reflect inherent intelligence or makes one a child prodigy: it simply demonstrates how good one is at taking the ACT and SAT, and I believe anyone can do well with the correct approach.
