Description: I'm a tutor in the Friendswood/Clear Lake/League City/Pearland area looking to help out students in those same areas with various math and science courses. I tutor from junior high to several college courses. I am a post-bacc student going to school for engineering, and just looking to get some work in on the side. Description: As a math major, I tutored my peers throughout college. After college, I applied my math and science in military aviation. For the last five years, I have instructed a variety of aviation topics. All of this has included instructing math and physics.

I can instruct almost any math subject and several science subjects. However, my favorite subject to instruct is algebra. As I have helped students with higher math, including calculus and differential equations, I have found that those who struggle typically lack a good foundation in algebra. Description: Over the past seven years, I have tutored students (from 3rd grade through college) in the North Dallas and surrounding areas. Mathematics is my specialty with particular courses of Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, Trigonometry, Geometry, Pre-Calculus and Calculus. 

I also work with students as they are preparing for standardized tests (Math portions of ISEE, SAT, ACT) to help refresh concepts and practice test taking skills. 

I tend to focus on having students recognize concepts of the problems they face so that through repetition, problems solving comes more easily and they build confidence in their abilities. I also tutor some Science and Technology subjects with a particular interest in Chemistry (General, Organic, Biochemistry).

I have two Masters degrees, one in Computer Science (SMU) and one in Biomedical Engineering (UT Southwestern Medical Center). Professionally, I have been a Technical Consultant and Sales Engineer in Healthcare Information Technology for 13 years and have nearly 30 years total working experience (over 20 years in Healthcare).
