Description: As a math major, I tutored my peers throughout college. After college, I applied my math and science in military aviation. For the last five years, I have instructed a variety of aviation topics. All of this has included instructing math and physics.

I can instruct almost any math subject and several science subjects. However, my favorite subject to instruct is algebra. As I have helped students with higher math, including calculus and differential equations, I have found that those who struggle typically lack a good foundation in algebra. In my tutoring work I have as my goal two things:

1. to enable the student to understand and master the subject matter.

2. to enable th student to continue making progress to the point where s/he is ready to explain the topic to others, and to be able to assume the role of teacher as well. 

I meet for two-hour sessions. The fee is $50 for the 2 hours.
