Description: Over the past seven years, I have tutored students (from 3rd grade through college) in the North Dallas and surrounding areas. Mathematics is my specialty with particular courses of Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, Trigonometry, Geometry, Pre-Calculus and Calculus. 

I also work with students as they are preparing for standardized tests (Math portions of ISEE, SAT, ACT) to help refresh concepts and practice test taking skills. 

I tend to focus on having students recognize concepts of the problems they face so that through repetition, problems solving comes more easily and they build confidence in their abilities. I also tutor some Science and Technology subjects with a particular interest in Chemistry (General, Organic, Biochemistry).

I have two Masters degrees, one in Computer Science (SMU) and one in Biomedical Engineering (UT Southwestern Medical Center). Professionally, I have been a Technical Consultant and Sales Engineer in Healthcare Information Technology for 13 years and have nearly 30 years total working experience (over 20 years in Healthcare).

Description: I am a certified elementary school teacher and am currently working on my masters in middle school math. I taught for 3 years and have recently been staying home to take care of my children. I currently tutor after school and can provide tutoring services in math for grades k-8.
