I believe that solving a problem shouldn't be the only goal but understanding the concept behind that is very important. If the basics of any student is well built up then he can grasp anything easily and wouldn't be afraid even if he sees a totally unknown problem in front of him. So making the student believe that what he is facing isn't a problem but a challenge makes the problem look much easier and changes the entire perspective of that student towards that subject.

Description: As a math major, I tutored my peers throughout college. After college, I applied my math and science in military aviation. For the last five years, I have instructed a variety of aviation topics. All of this has included instructing math and physics.

I can instruct almost any math subject and several science subjects. However, my favorite subject to instruct is algebra. As I have helped students with higher math, including calculus and differential equations, I have found that those who struggle typically lack a good foundation in algebra.
