How to Find a Tutor

Standard Search

Tutor Index has made your search process fast and easy.  At the top of every page in the Tutor Index banner, you will see drop down menus where you can narrow your search for a tutor by specifying:  educational level, subject, province and city.  You may choose to make a selection for one, two, three, or all four fields to find the type of tutor you're looking for.  Once you have made your selections, click "Find" and Tutor Index will display all of the tutors who match your search criteria.

Advanced Search

If you wish to perform a more detailed search, simply click "Advanced Search" in the far right of the top banner and you will be directed to a page where you can search by keywords, and select multiple subjects, multiple education levels and multiple locations.  Just like the standard method, search fields include:  educational level, subject, province, and city.

Map Search

From the home page of Tutor Index, you can also use our flash map to find a tutor by clicking on any province.  From there, the map will zoom in on the province you've selected so that you can choose your city.  Major Canadian cities are also labeled on the map for your added convenience, and may be clicked right away to be taken to the listed tutors in that particular location.

City Search

From the home page of Tutor Index, you can easily find the listed tutors in your area, by clicking on your city from the list provided underneath the map.  Once you click on your city from this list, you will be taken to a page which lists all of the relevant tutors by subject, in your selected location.
